Subject: Meeting to review the arrangements for the conduct OMR based Examination for the posts of Panchayat Secretary by JKSSB.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir shall be chairing a meeting to review the arrangements for the conduct of examination for the posts of Panchayat Secretary by JKSSB particularly with regard to the availability and seating capacity of various centers across the ten districts of Kashmir Division on Friday, 27th, Oct, 2023.
Accordingly, the officers of the committees constituted vide this office order No. 434-DivcomK of 2023 dated 21-10-2023 are requested to attend the said meeting on 27-10-2023 at 04:00PM through VC. The ADC concerned of the districts are requested to furnish the information both in hard & soft (acckashmir@gmail.com) format by or before 2:00PM on the date of meeting. The information so furnished shall be strictly as per the terms of reference of the committee constituted vide aforementioned order.

Subject: - Arrangements for the conduct of OMR based Examination for the posts of Panchayat Secretary by JKSSB-Venue for.
Reference: JKSSB/COE(Exam)/UT/86/2023/3(731234) Dated: 12/10/23.
The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board is holding OMR based examination for the post of Panchayat Secretary, across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir in the first fortnight of December 2023, in which about 91,412 number of candidates are scheduled to appear in Kashmir Division.
In order to ascertain the availability of centers for conduct of the said examination, a committee comprising of following officers is constituted in each district under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner concerned: -
(1) Additional Deputy Commissioner. "
(2) Programme Officer, ICDS,
(3) Chief Education Officer.
(4) Any other officer to be nominated by concerned Deputy Commissioner.

The terms of reference of the Committee shall be as under:
1. The committee shall consult the various examination institutions to obtain the seating capacity for its onward transmission to the JKSSB.
2. The committee shall see the feasibility of conducting examination in these centers in a hassle free manner and also the accessibility of those centers.
3. The committee shall consider only those centers which have adequate infrastructure for holding the examination.
4. The committees shall ensure that centers with adverse reputation shall not be considered for holding the examination.
5. The committee shall submit details of the centers so selected for conducting examination in respect of the candidate count, as per enclosed sheet within three (03) days positively.
The Committees shall further: -
1. Assess the available infrastructure in the centre viz., condition of rooms, furniture (desks), lighting condition, Drinking water facility in the institute, Washroom facility etc.
2. Assess the actual sitting capacity of the centre in the manner that 6x4matrix (seating capacity of the rooms should be like 24 candidates, 48 candidates, 96 candidates etc.) is maintained in a particular room in the centre.
3. Consider availability of sufficient staff in the institution which could be associated with the smooth conduct of examination.
