Subject: - Final Selection List for the post of Election Assistant (Junior Scale), Election Department, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 Dated. 16.12.2020, under Item No. 099.

Sir,

Consequent upon the receipt of indent from the Election Department, vide Indent No. 4568/CEO/Estt/SSB/2nd/2775 dated 28.09.2020, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), advertised the 110 posts vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020 under Item No. 099, of Election Assistant (Junior Scale).

The requisite qualification for selection against these posts, as per the Indent, is as under:

i. Graduation from a recognized University having Typing Speed of 35 words per minute and working knowledge of Urdu.

ii. Six Months Diploma/Certificate course in Computer Applications from recognized Institute.

The JKSSB conducted Skill/Type Test and Computer Based Test (CBT) for the aforementioned post and based on the performance of the candidates, published the result/score sheet and called the candidates falling under the consideration zone for Document Verification.

Thereafter, the Selection Committee, constituted vide Office Order No. 164-SSB of 2023 dated 28.08.2023, prepared the Provisional Selection List which was notified vide No. JKSSB-SDOSECY(JMU)/2023/890-96 dated. 20.09.2023. The Board in its 241th meeting held on 18.10.2023, approved the Final Selection List for the aforementioned posts, which were notified, vide Notification No. JKSSB-SDOSECY(JMU)/2023/(E-7298728)/1043-48 dated.08.11.2023.

Accordingly, the undersigned is directed to forward herewith the Final Selection List for the aforementioned 110 post of Election Assistant (Junior Scale), Election Department, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 Dated. 16.12.2020, under Item No. 099, as per Annexure-A to this communication.

The above Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s)/OA(s), if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of jurisdiction related to the selection. The Selection List shall also be subjected to the outcome of any inquiry, involving candidate(s), figuring in this Selection List.

Pertinently, the Document Verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to the extent of establishing physical possession of Category/Degree Certificates. While ascertaining genuineness/validity etc. or otherwise of the same and recognition status of the Institution, shall be the responsibility of the Indenting Department/Appointing authority.

It is further requested that in case any certificate/document, during the course of verification, turns out to be fake/fictitious, the Board may kindly be intimated and appropriate criminal proceedings against such candidates may kindly be initiated.

Further, in terms of Government Order No. 1003-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated. 27.09.2021, the candidate whose recommendation is forwarded by the Selection Agency shall submit their verification rolls in triplicate before the appointing authority within a period of 21 days, failing which the candidate (s) shall forego their right to appointment forthwith.

The Selection List is also available on the websites of J&K Services Selection Board (www.jkssb.nic.in) and may be cross verified from it, if required.
