Subject: Proposal for revival and referral of vacant posts of Junior Engineer Electrical and Civil in Jammu and Kashmir Power Transmission Corporation Limited (JKPTCL).

Sir. Kindly refer to the Item No. 8.14 of the minutes of 08 Board of Directors meeting of JKPTCL, regarding revival and referral of position of Junior Engineers including. 108 nos for electrical and 12 nos. for Civil for the recruitment, against the available vacant posts of Junior Engineer in JKPTCL.

In this context, the Board of Directors of IKPTCL in their 08 BoD meeting held on 18.10.2023, unanimously Resolved:

That the consent of the Bourd be and is hereby accorded to approve the revival and referral of 108 No for Electrical and 12 No for Civil vacant posts of Junior Engineers (JE's) by JKPTCL to the Administrative Department (UT of J&K) for further referral to Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) so that the recruitment process is initiated at the earliest.

Further that the appointment of Junior Engineers (JE) for the abovementioned posts, shall be xubject to the adoption of recruitment rules for appointment of Junior Engineers (Es). in the Board by JKPTCL.

FURTHER that the managing Director or any other Director of the Corporation he and is hereby authorized to do such acts deeds and things necessary for the execution of the above resolution.

It is therefore requested that the recruitment of 108 nos, Junior Engineer (Electrical) and 12 nos. Junior Engineer (Civil) which are presently vacant in Jammu and Kashmir Power Transmission Corporation Limited (JKPTCL), may kindly be processed through SSRB, so that the day-to day critical operations for maintain and operating the highly expensive elements of the infrastructure may be carried out efficiently.
